Hello Wildflowers Exchange partner! I am shamelessly cribbing a lot of this letter from my previous Critmas letter. For links to places that I exist, we have flammablehat (tumblr) and flammablehat (ao3). I’m very much looking forward to this exchange and I hope you are too!

First, on the subject of DNWs: I'm not a fan of infidelity/cheating. There are other things I probably wouldn’t actively seek out, but I’m willing to be persuaded within the context of a given story.

Things I don't really anticipate being common story elements but which I will also note as DNWs anyway - eye related trauma or torture, fingernail related trauma or torture (someone who bites their nails is whatever, but more physically serious things get squicky for me real fast).

As a matter of preference I like names and/or pronouns over epithets (eg: I prefer things like 'Caleb said,' or 'she did the thing' over 'the brunette did x,' 'the blonde,' 'the drow,' 'the human,' 'the [random descriptor here],' etc). And also I prefer 'come' as the spelling to 'cum'.

All of the above are just great starting points; don’t feel obligated to use any particular ingredient, or if you find yourself wanting to try something related or adjacent I’ll almost certainly adore that too.

Now for a quick breakdown of the requests!

Request 1: Critical Crossovers

The crossover pairings I'm interested in kind of lend themselves to a particular dynamic of confidence vs either naivete or uncertainty. I'm extremely intrigued by touchy, blustery Fjord with blithe, sexually confident Vax. Long established and happy Percy and Vex taking a twitchy Caleb under their wing (you know, now that I think of it, it's sort of like a Briarwoods + Vax inverse scenario - hot marrieds seek a third but make it less spooky lol). On a somewhat flipped dynamic, experienced and confident Marion playing with a charming foreign couple in Percy and Vex. Settled and happy Zahra and Kash traveling the world and stumbling across the most curious leetle blue Sapphire, you get the idea!

Request 2: Critical Role Campaign 1

Campaign 1 is home to some of my favorite threesomes. For any threesome pairing with both Vex and Vax included, I am fine with twincest and also fine without twincest. I love the idea of Vex and Vax working together to mess with Percy, and I also love the idea of Percy as the wealthy and powerful eccentric who keeps beautiful and lethal pets in Vex and Vax. I love the idea of Vex, Jarett and Vax going on a bit of a friendly bender and finding common ground in their common backgrounds and one thing leads to another, but I also like the idea of fully established Lord Percival and Lady Vex'ahlia de Rolo inviting a favored captain of the guard (Jarett, to be clear) into their bed. The thought of Percy doting on both Vex and Tary while they lovingly squabble with each other makes me happy. And finally, Grog/Vax and Grog/Keyleth are just a couple of my favorite campaign 1 rarepairs.

Request 3: Critical Role Campaign 2

I've apparently come into a unique appreciation of Fjord at the end of Campaign 2. I've always enjoyed him, don't get me wrong, but I didn't have any particularly shippy feelings about him until late in the game. There is absolutely not enough Fjord and Nott/Veth content out there. I don't mind if it's early campaign Fjord with goblin Nott, or later campaign Fjord with halfling Veth, I just need more of these two sniping at each other in my life.

Fjord and Essek I've been intrigued by since their brief and bright moment of banter in the dungeon of penance (I think? My memory is super bad but I think it was the DoP). I kind of like the idea of unexpected mutual attraction between them, or, alternatively, them both knowing they want someone else but being happy to make do with each other in the meantime. Fjord and Eadwulf fall on a similar vein for similar reasons - I seem to have a thing for Fjord matched with intense Odd Couple energy, I guess?

As for the Campaign 2 threesomes, I am still on the Beau and Caleb sharing Jester train even if they're not sharing each other. Please feel free to have them work on her simultaneously - we know they're a great team when they put their minds to something and they don't have to be in each other's business to be in Jester's, ja feel? And as for Essek and Jester with either Fjord or Caleb, the only thing I ask is that Jester isn't made some weird accessory to the boys fucking. I don't have any hard and fast rules about what that looks like, but if you find yourself wanting to make the only woman in the dynamic more of a spectator while the other two only have eyes for each other, I'm not going to be interested.

And now for some prompts if you'd like some more specific ideas to get started with! Please don't feel obligated to use any of them - they're here to hopefully serve as inspiration if you need or want them!

Prompts:

Percy and Vex take an anniversary trip to Nicodranas and Vex pays for Marion's company for a night as a gift to Percy (and also herself). Lots of fun voyeurism with Marion seducing Vex while Percy gets to watch, followed by all three of them falling into bed together would be A+.
Zahra and Kash take an anniversary trip to Nicodranas and Zahra has heard truly remarkable things about the Ruby of the Sea even if Kash is skeptical. AU where Jester is following in her mama's footsteps at the chateau, and Zahra and Kash don't find Marion available but they do find a cheeky blue tiefling who immediately has Kash's 'annoyed, but into it' hackles raised and Zahra absolutely delighted. Kash and Zahra teaching a relatively inexperienced but eager Jester the ropes.
Vex and Percy don't really do magic - at least not the way Caleb knows it. Maybe he could use a bit of a break from what he knows. AKA Caleb gets a little down to earth treatment, literally.
Vax likes pain. Grog knows the exact measure of what Vax can take.
Jarett and Percy DP Vex. That's it, that's the prompt.
Vex and Tary start playfully competing with each other to ~seduce Percy. Percy is flattered, flustered, and maybe a little annoyed because his darlings keep disrupting his current project to one up each other.
Nott/Veth discovers Fjord is into an 'embarrassing' kink (interpret that how you will) and obviously she can't let that go. Bonus points if she accidentally incepts herself into it too by trying to rile Fjord.
Essek and Fjord sparring for play or practice. Fjord knows he can't outmatch Essek at a distance, which means he has to find a way to get in close. Extra bonus points for strength and size kink and Fjord manhandling Essek.
Caleb banishes Essek to Fjord and Jester's ship for a much needed vacation. Fjord and Jester discover a foolproof way to take Essek out of his head and get him to relax. (Feel free to employ a poly setup for this or any other prompt, if you'd like!)
